Paolo, traditional pottery from Umbria
"The pottery atelier “La Mastro Giorgio” is our family business. It has been created my by grandfather Marsilio in the early '30s. Later it has been inherited by my father Valentino, and now I, Paolo, inherited it."
It is considered as one of the most eminent and well-known factories in Umbria. We in fact have always focused on the quality of our products, keeping constant the noble and historical tradition of Gubbio's majolica.

The city in effect is one of the most ancient production center of Italy. It exhibits a strong language load of decorative designs, reaching a specific, unique and formal result due to the “patinatura a terzo fuoco” which is the third cooking.

The operational techniques, strictly artisan, and the know-how allows to create significantly big artworks as outdoor and indoor furniture, as well as households articles.

The atelier also creates modern works and it is a benchmark for designers and Contemporary Art artists.
